Double Drabble

"Keiss tries to seize the day but Layle had other plans."	Rated T	Layle/Keiss

Waking up in Layle's arms is nice. He's warm, soft, and yet firm. Keiss would love nothing more than to stay and enjoy the scent of grease and crushed flowers that is just him. Even if he's not the most elegant sleeper, prone to drooling and loudly snoring, he's the best looking ugly sleeper that Keiss has seen across the three tribes. Especially when sunrise streams in and washes over them both, turning Layle's hair truly golden and ethereal. Keiss thinks he's gorgeous. Knows it. He kisses his cheek, planning to leave quietly so Layle could catch up on some much needed sleep after the last job. His partner isn't having it, though, and wraps his arms around Keiss as he straddles him to leave. "Don't go yet." "We can't both lie here all day." His words are in conflict with his actions as he settles in his arms and rests his forehead against Layle's shoulder. "We won't." Layle is already drifting back off. He's such a shameless liar. Or perhaps he means it and is just terrible at keeping his word? It hardly matters when he plays with Keiss' hair as he falls asleep and drags his partner down with him, back into a pleasant dream.
